GEM◆LEY
A map made by your neighbors

Welcome to Gemley

The interactive map built by your neighbors — the locals who know you best. The best hidden areas, the roads less traveled, the hidden gem spots you'd never notice on your walk. Front and center.

The Map Your Neighbors Drew

Not the algorithm's map. Theirs. Every gem on Gemley is pinned by a neighbor — the spot, and why it matters, in their own words. Tap a gem.

Example gems, drawn the way your neighbors will pin them. When Gemley opens on your block, every pin is a real neighbor's spot, in their own words — never invented, never bought.

Inside the App

Gemley is the places — and the people a place knows by name.

Your Usual

Keep your usual at the places you love, in your own words. The venue confirms it — then one tap on your way in, and they see it coming. Your order, your way, no explaining yourself to a counter.

Regular Stamps

Being known should count for something. Earn stamps for real visits at the places that know you — confirmed by the venue, celebrated in the app. No streaks, no games. Just: you're a regular here, and it shows.

The Neighbors' Board

The people who actually go to a place get a say in it. Suggest the special, the theme night, the menu item. The venue picks — and your name stays on what runs, because it was your idea.

How Gemley Works

Three steps, and the neighborhood does the rest.

1

Neighbors pin the gems

The shortcut, the bench, the corner that smells like fresh bread at 7 AM — the things no algorithm notices, pinned by the people who walk past them every day.

2

You walk their roads

Follow the roads less traveled — a neighbor's actual way through the neighborhood, with the hidden spots strung along it like lights.

3

The places know you back

Go enough and you're not a customer anymore. You're a regular — your usual ready, your stamps adding up, your name on the board.

Why Gemley Exists

Gemley was born outside a restaurant on the night of my birthday dinner — my friend Love took me out. Getting there was a fight: no matter where I went, Google Maps kept giving me wrong directions. And standing outside, waiting for her so we could check in together, I said it: there has to be a better map solution out there — one that lets you take the shortcut and gives you the faster way to get there. A map made by the neighbors.

Because who actually knows the shortcut? Not the algorithm. The neighbors. The regulars. The people a place knows by name, whose order is already in the bartender's head before they sit down. That's Gemley — the roads the neighbors actually take, and the app of the people who belong to a place. It was born standing outside, waiting, talking it into existence. It's built by its neighbors because it was born that way.
